This research was motivated by the lack of cooperation and interest in student learning, especially in learning biology. One of the factors that influence student cooperation and interest in learning is the lack of use of learning models. The two stay two stray (TSTS) learning model is a type of cooperative learning that provides opportunities for groups to share knowledge and experiences with other groups, so as to increase student collaboration and interest in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the two stay two stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model on cooperation and student interest in learning virus material for class X IPA at MA Al - Amien Sabrang Ambulu Jember. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of comparative research using the design of the One Group Preetest Posttest Experiment which was conducted at MA Al Amien Sabrang Ambulu Jember. The population includes class X IPA as many as 94 students. The sampling technique used was Cluster Random Sampling. The sample in this study was class X IPA 1 with a total of 47 students. data collection method using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used parametric statistics with the paired Sample Z-test formula using the SPSS 21 program. The results showed that there was an effect of the TSTS cooperative learning model on the cooperation and learning interest of class X science students at MA Al-Amien Sabrang Ambulu Jember.
